 MTN Satellite Communications, a global service provider of communications to remote locations worldwide, along with partners Jetstream and e3 Systems, are pleased to announce today that it has been the chosen VSAT services provider for the 557-foot Mega Yacht Eclipse.
The MTN connectivity was quick and dependable, and enabled the yard, contractors, and owners' representatives to access remote files, send reports, and enjoy television via The Jetstream.The Jetstream is the first IP-based full service solution designed especially for super yachts.

 A former presidential yacht which was enjoyed by five U.S. presidents including President John F. Kennedy and his family is currently under major restoration in Riviera Beach, Florida.
James Moore and crew are working in efforts to realign the hull and replace the majority of the underside of the "Honey Fitz", a 93-foot yacht originally dubbed the "Lennore II", serving five American presidents.

 The latest in regards to yacht dealers and distributors includes news from Marquis Yachts, Buzzards Bay Yacht Sales and Win-tron Electronics. Just recently, Marquis Yachts opened a new Marquis Yacht Center in an effort to serve their customers along the northern Gulf Coast in Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
Fred Pace, with his yachting industry team, manages the service facility where the entire range of Marquis brand premium quality yachts will be marketed. This center is associated with Legendary Marine and will serve its customers from the Marquis sales office and full service boatyard located in Destin, Florida.

 Southampton based Solent Refit, a new super yacht service facility offers unrestricted access from the deep Water channel and an exclusive location for super yachts on Britain's South Coast. The refit service facility opened in September 2009 and features a large capacity 1500 ton horizontal slipway with 70m yacht lifting capabilities.
Upon opening, Solent Refit service has worked on super yachts of up to 60m in length, and currently have several large yachts at the service facility. With a state of the art purpose built rail transfer system, vessels are easily transferred from the slipway to areas for longer term work periods out of the water.
