 The first super yacht to be built at Palmer Johnson's new building site at Hythe near Southampton has hit the high seas. The 170ft PJ-501 super yacht, was built for a repeat client and is now headed off to the Mediterranean, where it will cruise for the coming months.
Renowned as one of the world's most innovative super yacht builders, Palmer Johnson opened the Hythe based facility in 2008.

 Italy based shipyard, Perini Navi is renowned for their sailing yachts, however following the acquisition of Cantieri Navali Beconcini, the mega yacht company has also added the volume for motor yachts as well.
The Spezia yard was rechristened Picchiotti, launching its first new vessel on July 4th.
