Developed primarily to support the expanding renewable energy sector, software from Aquatera combines various datasets including the latest marine geographic information data from SeaZone for locations that could be important for future marine renewable projects.

G.M.Y.C. Applications yesterday released Yachts for iPhone and iPod Touch users. The new technology software is a program about mega yachts available in the App Store, Yachts 1.1 is being purchased by consumers interested in seeing how the 'other half' lives and also by yacht enthusiasts who enjoy reading the stats of each vessel.
Yachts software consists of statistics and photos for 50 of the largest and most expensive pleasure yachts globally.

Garmin International Inc., the world leader in satellite technology navigation, announces the introduction of Garmin HomePort - a new software application that allows mariners to plan out and manage trips, routes, tracks and waypoints and transfer trip data between a PC computer and applicable Garmin chartplotter, making it easier to plan and review all of your on-the-water adventures.

The high-technology software company, founded by his father in 1979, has always been part of his life. After completing an electrical engineering degree at the University of New Brunswick, Masry has joined Caris as research and development manager.
"It's a family business so I've always been involved with Caris, but now it's official," Masry said during a recent interview. As one of the most successful geospatial software companies in the world, Masry said returning to Fredericton to work for his father's technology software company was certainly a no-brainer.
