VEI-MiamiEurotask Ltd., is excited to announce that VEI Technologies, a manufacturer of marine electronics, will reveal its new LED Series Marine Display System during the Miami International Boat Show, February 11-15, 2010. This new advanced system, which is sharper, brighter and produces far less heat than standard marine monitors.

"When it comes to marine electronics and computer systems, VEI is certainly an established leader," said Mike Bader, COO of VEI Technologies of Boca Raton, Fla. "So it's not surprising that with the new LED Series Marine Display system, we're taking the tested-and-true marine display technology to an entirely new level, offering boaters unparalleled durability and performance." "The new LED display system has recently been included on some of the best new-build megayachts in the world, said Bader."

VEI's LED Series Marine Display System offers an array of creative features, including:

• Separate LCD control unit, which operates all menu functions and allows input choices for up to six screens at the helm
• Nine inputs - four VGA, four composite, one DVI - to meet every need
• All-glass with no bezel - a no-cost option
• Scratchproof, anti-glare glass, an industry innovation
• Available in four levels of brightness
• Optional touch screen available
• Flexibility of six installation styles with one monitor, including sealed, vented yoke, custom bezel or ram and flat mount.

VEI Marine Display Systems can be customized for any specific helm look, an invaluable feature for OEMs, yacht designers and refit yards. "Our bezels are available in various colour options, as well carbon fibre or wood grain," said Bader. "In addition we also offer them in all-glass and no-bezel as a no-cost option." These latest technology systems are extremely durable, and made to withstand the most demanding marine conditions. "They hold up through extensive periods of vibration, moisture and salt water exposure which are common, particularly in long periods of offshore cruising conditions," said Bader. "They're easily mounted and serviced, and just four small screws enable quick installation and accessibility from the rear of the monitor." The VEI Technologies display will be located at booth 1622 in the Electronics Room in the Miami Beach Convention Center.
