The idea, which has already won a design competition, incorporates a white sands beach on the rooftop, a glass floor lobby and pre-fabricated guest room modules with built-in protection against hurricanes. The entire assembly is held together by a core of water and powered by wind turbines and solar panels. As you can see, the design also calls for a helipad and a docking area for boats.
