 Among the designer boating gear, luxury yachts and exhilarating indoor wakeboarding performances, one furry pocket-sized water sports participant is making a tremendous splash at the 38th annual Minneapolis Boat Show.
This water-skiing squirrel is known as Twiggy and is the star entertainer at the five-day Minneapolis boat show event, performing for the astonished public on a miniature pair of skis in a custom-made pool.

 53 of the highest ranked Waterski and Wakeboarding athletes in the world will be arriving in Liuzhou in Central-Southwest China from 17 countries around the world to celebrate the Nation's 60th Anniversary Celebrations, media interest has been intensive from the moment the sports athletes arrived.
To date, the International Waterski & Wakeboarding Federation (IWWF) has completed 27 World Cup Wakeboarding Stops with two more yet to go in 2009.

 Anthony Hollick put a disappointing wakeboarding season to rest after winning the men's pro wakeboarding event on Thursday at the Canadian wakeboarding championships in Peterborough, Ont.
Hollick, headed for Orlando, Fla., leaving a few hours after his first career national crown to compete at this weekend's world wakeboarding championships, finished ahead of Braden Stumborg of Saskatoon and Didier Godbout of Montreal.

 One of the best wakeboarding sports competitors in the world, Ben Greenwood, will be teaching clinics and giving wakeboarding sports demonstrations in Costa Rica on August 7, 8 and 9 at Lago Arenal.
For the first time in Costa Rica, a number of lucky wakeboarding enthusiasts will be given the opportunity to ride alongside and learn from one of the best wakeboarding competetors in the world.

 Wakeboard Zone has currently released a new section in their website that has all of the basics on Wakeboard and Waterskiing. This is part of a new community website that is all about Wakeboarding Waterskiing. Members as well as non-members may visit this Wakeboard and Waterskiing site Tips page on the Wakeboard Zone website at no cost: www.wakeboardzone.org.
An example of the new Wakeboarding and Waterskiing information webpage: " There are a many differences between the two sports. The first obvious distinction is that the wakeboarding is a variant of waterskiing. The latter has been around for over 80 years today while the former is very recent in sports.
