Today marks the official start for the PKRA kiteboarding sports tour stop at Skt. Peter-Ording on the shores of the North Sea in Northern Germany. This is one of the biggest kiteboarding events in the entire sports tour displaying an unprecedented amounts of action both on and off the water.
The kiteboarding competition will begin on Saturday with a wind forecast of up to 25 knots and unfortunately a bit of rain, but nevertheless we expect some awesome action on the water.
The wind forecast for the upcoming days also looks good, however with unstable general weather conditions we are currently experiencing, be sure to check back often to see changes in wind forecast for Skt. Peter-Ording. However, if there is no wind, you can expect a wide range of side events like SUP-paddling, BMX shows, Beach Volleyball and Skimboarding. Every major kiteboarding brand will be present in the Kitelife village to show their latest gear as well. Additionally, the Windfinder team will be there to report directly from the kiteboarding event and our managing director Oliver König will also be participating in the sports kiteboarding competition where he finished in 10th place last year! If you see us on the beach don't hesitate to talk with us! * germany,
