 Scuba diving in a cenote - one of the limestone sinkholes filled with water in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula - opens up an entirely different world that not many have experienced. In Cancun, Mexico, or neighboring Riviera Maya, scuba diving or snorkeling in these water-filled underground caves is becoming very popular with vacationers.
Based on my diving experiences I developed a solid desire to scuba dive through a cave system; a desire of mine just recently fulfilled. While visiting Mexico's Riviera Maya, Evie and I descended into the Dos Ojos cenote, to swim among the columns which were formed by stalactites and stalagmites, lit here and there by rays of light from the sun peeking through the limestone rock above our heads.

 The Cocoa Expo Sports Complex will play host to this years surfing exhibition on April 17-18, 2010. Drew Brophy, an award winning professional sports surf artist whose work has been featured in various surfing and art publications will be attending this years highly anticipated surfing event.
Brophy paints more than surfboards, he has also been commissioned to design wakeboards, skateboards, guitars, bikes, and clothing as well. Brophy's motto, "It's my job to make things look really cool" and has no boundaries.

 The remarkable Jetlev Jetski Jetpack is an exciting new rig that enables you to simply take off into the air. One interesting thing is that it combines a jetski with a jetpack. The latest of watersports equipment was dubbed the Jetlev Flyer and it's finally ready to purchase!
Its appearance may reflect a bit dangerous, although probably not as dangerous as the real jetpacks attempts that have been made. The Jetlev Jetski Jetpack is a bit pricey. The low-end sports model boasts a price tag of about $135,000 in change.

 Tofino was appointed the best surfing town in all of North America in the 2010 Editors' Choice awards. The top rated surfing town is in Canada. Who would have thought? The towns success ranking "has a lot to do with the fact that it's a magnificent surfing venue that was a secret for such a long time," says Sharon Lingenfelter, executive director of Tourism in Tofino.
The areas International recognition all began when the O'Neill Cold Water Classic international surfing competition got underway and surfing competitors saw Tofino resident Peter de Vries defeat nearly 140 opponents, Lingenfelter said.

 Spring is right around the corner along with the annual Emerald Coast Beach Volleyball Week. This year the festivities kick off on Wednesday April 21st and run through Sunday April 25th on the beach behind the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
The Emerald Coast Beach Volleyball Week attracts thousands of beach volleyball competitors and spectators to the Fort Walton Beach and Destin area annually to have some fun in the sun. As tradition, beach volleyball tournament formats will include Fudpucker 4 Player, Bring Your Own Partner, King/Queen/Kid of the Beach and Double Draw with competitors for cash prizes, apparel and merchandise.
