Using a bit of sandpaper and several coats of a paint you can give the bottom of your vessel a complete facelift, which greatly improves fuel efficiency as well as its handling.

 

If the existing paint is in good condition, you will most likely only have to sand it lightly using 80-100 grit sandpaper. You can achieve the sanding procedure one of two ways: Sanding by hand or using a power sander, but lightly.

Corona_Emblem_new_antifoulingInternational Paint is constructing a new, worldwide product development laboratory located in Singapore. Planned to launch early in 2010, the new product laboratory will focus on the creation of next generation antifouling and foul release technology.

The new product laboratory will be a key part of the International Paint global marine network of R&D centers and will build on the favorable outcome of the existing worldwide product development laboratories in the U.K. and Korea and the existing regional product development laboratories in Houston, Bangalore, Shanghai, Geoje, Singapore and Felling.
