 Poole Harbour Commissioners have recently reported plans to transform Poole into the central yachting paradise of England's South Coast. Following a massive investment in the region, could see Poole Harbour welcome superyachts, cruise ships, Olympic sailors and world-class races.
Poole Harbour Commissioners have long been fighting for the investment after the port faced hardships. However, the influential plans to transform the port into a luxury paradise for superyachts could greatly enhance the port's popularity for the high-net-worth class.

 On Wednesday, Viking Developers were granted an approval from the city council to supervise a $59 million redevelopment for the city marina and it's surrounding property. However, the city council had not voted until late Wednesday on a proposal to lease the southern section of the marina to Rybovich Portside LLC for a megayacht repair yard.
A unanimous vote on Wednesday to delegate Viking the master developer for the redevelopment plan followed a three hours discussion involving requests by Councilman Shelby Lowe that the agreement would include public access to the water for residents.

 Interval International announces the addition of the Porto Vacation Club in its network of global resorts. Initially, the club will be comprised of units at Porto Marina before the Golf Porto Marina and Porto Sokhna complexes are actually added.

 The Kiteboarding competition will get underway during the prestigious Puerto Rico Heineken and international Dinghy Regatta's, scheduled for March 18, 19, 20 and 21, out of the beautiful newly built marina facilities at Palmas del Mar, in Humacao, located on the southeastern coast of Puerto Rico.
These sailing events are comprised of some of the best big boat and dinghy sailors in the Caribbean - and from around the World.
This internationally acclaimed regatta founded in 1977 - the 'Copa Velasco', comes little more than a year after the opening of the multi-million dollar Palmas del Mar Yacht Club Marina.

 Jupiter, Florida announces the new Loggerhead Club & Marina - In past years known as Jonathan's Landing Marina, is located within the highend, residential community of Jonathan's Landing, and situated in a storm-protected harbor just minutes to the Jupiter Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean.
