During the proceedings, Rush's crew administered combined operations to seize illegal high seas driftnet fishing.
The cutter also made its second port call in China. During 2006, the Rush was the first U.S. Coast Guard cutter to visit China after World War II. Rush is one out of two 378-foot high performance cutters located in Honolulu and provides a crew of 135. The Rush's missions consist of defense operations, treaties and law enforcements search and rescue throughout the Pacific.
