Kempinski luxury hotels has opened it's first five-star boutique hotel in Egyptian capital Cairo, the Kempinski Nile. Boasting 137 rooms and 54 suites, the Kempinski Nile overlooks the banks of the legendary river and is the latest hotel to open in the city, which has been experiencing something of a tourism upsurge.
The hotels design was created by expert French architect Pierre Yves Rochon, who is also responsible for parts of the famous George V in Paris and the newly renovated The Savoy hotel, located in London.

Several of South Florida's luxury hotels are becoming more inclusive versus exclusive as they try to enhance their bottom lines with continued business from local residents. According to industry experts, many hotels are now actively marketing affordable event packages and upscale personal services.
Substantial spa and restaurant discounts are being offered to attract nearby residents to use hotels as social hot spots. "We are relentlessly tapping this market now," says Michelle Payer, the Ritz-Carlton Hotels area director of public relations for Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

On Wednesday a proposal for a 200-room luxury hotel in Harlem was backed by former football athlete Emmitt Smith, earning preliminary approval for approximately $20 million in federal tax-exempt financing.
The Board of the New York City Capital Resource Corp. approved Smith's company, ESmith Legacy Harlem LLC, to receive up to $19.7 million in Recovery Zone Facility Bonds to use towards the hotels building and development project to be located at 100 West 125th Street.
