The Annapolis School of Seamanship and the U.S. Powerboat Show events will offer a new hands-on seminar workshop for boaters at the Annapolis show in October.
The Take the Wheel events seminar represents the first time the U.S. Power Boat Shows events has integrated an educational seminar offering with the interactive component within the boat shows demonstrations.
The boatshows workshop events will consist of: classroom seminars and an introductory ride on one of four major styles of powerboats: trawler, express cruiser, center console and Down East cruiser. Tiara Yachts, Kadey-Krogen Yachts, Boston Whaler and MJM Yachts will provide the boats. The boatshows events begin Oct. 16 or 17, the one-day workshop costs $149 per person or $200 per couple.
