Hurricane Earl made little structural damage as it whipped past the coast of North Carolina, likely leaving the insurance industry with few losses.
The storms activities made its closest pass to the Outer Banks of North Carolina early Friday morning at a distance of approximately 85 miles, keeping hurricane force winds offshore.

The annual luxury-festival known as the Lido Yacht Expo will be getting underway in Newport Harbor in just a few weeks in celebration of its 32nd year. According to boat show organizer Duncan McIntosh, the highly anticipated expo brings in the well-to-do from all over Southern California who are possibly looking to add a new boat to their existing fleet or replace an aging one.
However, there's plenty to amaze young boating enthusiasts with the ambition of one day owning a boat.

Green Mountain Energy Company,the nation's leading competitive retail provider of cleaner energy and carbon offset solutions announce today that Trump SoHo in New York City, the newest property of Trump Hotel Collection has committed to purchasing renewable energy from Green Mountain for 100 per cent of the hotels usage of electricity.
The hotel is expected to purchase over 5.5 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of wind energy annually from Green Mountain over the two-year term of its contract.

The second annual Fall Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo is set to get underway on September 24-26 at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, New Jersey. The boat show will feature new and used boats and accessories by local marine retailers, including new 2011 models.
The boat show is organized by the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey which offers a low cost, one-stop alternative to consumers and marine retailers at an easily accessible venue.
