Paris Hilton has warned fans not to buy tickets for an imminent Dubai night club, after the bar's bosses falsely claimed she would be making a personal appearance at the bash. The heiress jetted United Arab Emirates earlier this week to begin shooting her new TV show Paris Hilton's "My New BFF:Dubai" and had lined up a string of publicity stunts at the city's bars.
But Hilton was furious after spotting ads promoting her planned visit to BED club on Wednesday night, because she hadn't agreed to turn up to the establishment.

Winter is over, not that South Florida would know. Miami is gearing up for one of the most publicized events in the music business, the Miami Beach Winter Music Conference (WMC) March 24-28th.
This year the WMC is being held at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa, but there’s still parties going on at the Remix hotel (last year’s host hotel) so don’t forget to check it out as well. In its 24th year, the WMC is still growing strong and continues to attract music lovers, professionals, and DJ’s from all over the world. The WMC is regarded as one of the biggest networking events in the dance music industry. It offers it all, networking; parties, sun, fun, and of course cutting edge beats that will echo in your ears throughout the week.

Askmen.com: We all love to paint the town red; whether it’s fast-flowing drinks or easy women you’re after (or both), there’s nothing quite as brilliant as a night out on the town with your closest buddies.
However, sometimes a trip to your local spit-and-sawdust bar just doesn’t cut the mustard -- after all, there’s only a certain amount of times you can chat up the same barmaid, play the same pool table and listen to the same faulty jukebox.
Yes, sometimes a trip further afield is the only way to get the party truly started, which is why we’ve compiled a list of the top 10 nightlife cities across the globe, from Miami to London. Included for their array of nightlife hot spots, their up-for-it locals, their late-night last calls and their excellent après-party transportation systems, we couldn’t think of a better way to spend a boys-only weekend then in these top-notch nightlife cities.

Hotels as hangout spots, a trend originally made popular on the West Coast, has officially established itself as a staple of New York nightlife.
In recent years, several new hotels have emerged that combine the first class hospitality you’ve come to expect from the Big Apple with its tireless nightlife you know and love. Inspired in part by party spots like the Hotel Roosevelt in Hollywood and featuring some of New York’s hottest bars and clubs, many are now utilized primarliy as nightlife destinations rather than as hotels in the traditional sense.
Their appeal is in their subtleties. For one, smart style and modernity definitely prevail over comfort and convention. Whether you're planning a first date or entertaining a new client over drinks, choosing one for the setting will undoubtedly speak highly of your taste.

Opium Garden, a major player in South Beach's nightlife scene for the past decade, has closed and is moving to the sprawling Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Hollywood. Prive, a more intimate, upscale club inside Opium Garden, won't follow it north and has closed, though its namesake will continue to operate in Las Vegas.
Opium -- ''Garden'' has been dropped from its name -- will open in mid-March in the 40,000-square-foot space formerly known as Spirits. A specific date has yet to be announced, but events are expected to be scheduled for the Winter Music Conference, an international dance-music event that kicks off the week of March 23.
