According to Thai Hotels Association, the co-organizer, Food & Hotel Thailand 2009 attracts 756 brands from around the world to participate in the food exhibition, which features a wide range of products and services from food, beverage, bakeries, seasonings, wine to glassware, kitchenware, and retail and hotel equipment as well as software.

"Although recognizing the trying economic slowdown at the beginning of this year, we are now experiencing more positive signs of recovery. Food and Hotel Thailand is one of the three biggest trade entertainment fairs held in Asia, raising the awareness that Thailand is the center of the world's hospitality business," says Prakit Chinamourphong, president of the association. We are expecting this year's food entertainment event will attract approximately 25,000 visitors from 60 countries, and generate over 180 million baht (5.29 million U.S. dollars) from entertainment transactions, followed by 650 million baht from post event entertainment activities, said Prakit.

Among these exhibitors are international companies from 32 countries including Japan, South Africa and U.S. Visitors can enjoy drink samples from Nestle and buy products from Victorinox at half price. Additionally, other events are to be held from Wednesday to Saturday to entice visitors' experience, such as the Asia's 1st Culinary Entertainment Cup that assembles over 600 award-winning chefs from around the world, the Wedding Flower Decoration Entertainment Festival and the International Wine Challenge.
