As tradition, former President George Herbert Walker Bush can be spotted each summer, piloting his speed boat along the coast near his Walker's Point estate in Kennebunkport. Although Monday afternoon, his boat trip didn't end the way he most likely had planned.
Jim Appleby, Mr. Bush's personal assistant, says Mr. Bush was piloting his 38-foot speed boat "Fidelity Four" back from Ogunquit along the Kennebunk River when fog began rolling in.

The two-year excursion finally came to a screeching halt yesterday after a high speed boat chase in the Bahamas resulted in the apprehension of the teenage "Barefoot Bandit" who's reputation had become somewhat of a folk hero for diverting cops by stealing planes.
19 year old Colton Harris-Moore, was stopped after cops managed to shoot out the engine of the stolen speed boat he was zipping away in. According to Royal Bahamas Police Commissioner Ellison Greenslade, "It was just like something you would see in the movies," he said.

Rumours stemming from last month's Monaco boat show, allegedly the disciples of the day boat industry, Italian powerhouses Riva and Wally, were distracted by the arrival of new competition on the market. Amazingly enough, is that the new comer making it's big splash was developed and built in Britain.
C-boats first prototype, the C-12, informatively masterminded through the works of Jason Carrington, renowned in the designing and building of Open 60 and Volvo Ocean racing yachts.

Model speed boating is a recreational activity for everyone. The amount of time and money needed to get started varies depending on whether you build it from scratch, form from a kit or simply buy a model speed boat.

I'm far away from a boating enthusiast and frankly, open water with no land in sight anywhere makes me somewhat nervous. However, I have managed to climb aboard a few boats and one thing in particular I've always noticed, and didn't care for, was the noise factor stemming from the outboard motor.
Its entirely impossible to have any type of conversation, even when your at half throttle. Another problem is the fact that these engines are gas guzzlers. That is why I prefer, if any, this electric boat my family and i came across, designed by Infinyte.
