 Organizers are diligently working to put together the Treasure Coast Power Boat Race. Planned for April 23-25, the Treasure Coast Power Boat Race will feature nearly 100 power boat racing teams representing the United States and Canada.
The power boat race will be authorized by the American Power Boat Association and has the potential to be largest power boat race event in Florida. an estimated 30,000 fans are expected to fill the seats of this highly anticipated event," said O'Connor.

 "Benjamin Mendlowitz" has traveled the world for over 25 years to photograph classic wooden boats and is renowned throughout the boating industry for his remarkable contributions to nautical publications in which seven are available to date. A visual presentation of his work will depict the expert craftsmanship and beauty of classic wooden boats captured through his photography.
March 13th - "American Fisheries" - filmmaker Bailey Pryor along with producer Stephen Jones explore the dramatic documentary of the 500-year-old North Atlantic cod fishery in his film American Fisheries: A Cautionary Tale.

 The world's largest solar powered boat was unveiled in Germany on Thursday prior to its 2011 scheduled circumnavigation of the globe - the first under solar power. Raphael Domjan, the initiator of the boat project and future skipper said, "Its a remarkable feeling to finally see the completed project before me today, a boat in which I've dreamt about."
The sleek, 100 by 50 ft. catamaran, dubbed PlanetSolar, will be "silent and clean," stated its Swiss based builders, also known as PlanetSolar. The boat can achieve a maximum speed of approximately 15 knots, equal to 15 miles per hour, accommodating 50 people on its round-the-world venture.

Rightlfully titled for the embattled athlete who hasn't been sighted since fighting with wife Elin Nordegren on Thanksgiving evening, the 61-ft boat may just serve as a peace offering. "Solitude is a dive boat designed especially for Elin, who enjoys the sport of scuba diving."
